The side portrait of the Lesser Bird of Paradise perched on a single wooden branch which stretches horizontally across the dark background. With a brown-coloured body and wings (one of which is stretching out to the right), yellow eyes and head, black pupils and lores, greyish-blue beak, the bird displays its majestic long, fluffed bunch of plumes which colours span from white to a rich yellow-orange gradient. Its beautiful yellow filamentous flank plumes spreads out on the top, and its elongated tail flows softly downwards.
